Lockout Systems

Lockout/Tagout are used to prevent serious injuries to service personnel by controlling unauthorised or accidental use of energy.

Most industrial accidents are caused by the uncontrolled release of energy. Many of these accidents can be prevented by proper lockout/tagout procedures. Lockout/tagout are used to prevent needless deaths and serious injuries to service and maintenance personnel by controlling unauthorised or accidental use of energy.

Gate Valve Lockouts Gate valve cover consists of two flattened half moons that completely cover the valve wheel.

Electrical Plug Lockouts
Completely enclose the plug from any accidental reconnection. The electrical cable is inserted through the opening and then closed. The single entry (LP 110) or multiple entry (LP 550) locking system avoids usage by unauthorised personnel during critical times. The electrical plug lockout is a practical and positive protection system. Made out of polypropylene plastic, it is totally dielectric, resists cold or hot temperatures up to 149°C.

Safety Lockout Hasps
Correct Lockout procedures should be followed whenever a repair of inspection is being made. The machinery should stay locked until every individual working on the repairs or inspection is finished. Safety Lockout Hasps allow up to six individuals to lockout a single energy source. This prevents accidents and re-energising before all repairs or inspections are made.



Group Lock Boxes

To be used for work team lockout situations. Where there are multiple employees and all energy sources, machines or processes are all locked out. All keys are stored in the group lock box. The group leader then locks the box until the job is completed and all group members are cleared from the work area.


Master Standard Padlocks
Master No.3 Padlocks offer dual locking hardened steel shackles and tough laminated steel bodies which stand up to physical abuse dependable protection against unauthorised removal.

Master Lockout Padlocks
Master Lock introduces a padlock designed specifically for safety lockout. Quick identification with eight bright, solid body colours, special ‘safety lockout’ marking and permanent write on labels for user names.
